The January 2012 feature photo is entitled "Dinner In Hand" which won an Honorable Mention award at the Photographic Society of Chattanooga Quarterly Contest (theme: Looking Up) on September 8, 2011.
The December 2011 feature photo is entitled "Robins Flying Above" which won an Honorable Mention award at the Photographic Society of Chattanooga Quarterly Contest (theme: Looking Up) on September 8, 2011.

The November 2011 feature photo was our 2012 calendar cover of sunrises and sunsets. The calendar includes various scriptures of how we should allow God to be in control of our lives and follow the plan He has for us.

The October 2011 feature photo was a friendly lizard in Haiti who liked attention and posing.
The September 2011 feature photo was an interesting photo and is titled "Flaming Rings of Fire".

The August 2011 feature photo was entitled "Storms Over Chattanooga" which was taken on April 27 when the devastating storms hit Chattanooga.

The July 2011 feature photo was a swallowtail butterfly confronting a small damselfly on a daylily entitled "This Is My Flower".

The June 2011 feature photo was a recent photo taken at the MYTD (Multi-cultural Youth Training & Development) annual Family Fun Day held at Booker T. Washington State Park. Here you can see the many children, youth, volunteers, parents, and other family members enjoying a game of volleyball. Everyone had an enjoyable day. The May 2011 feature photo was a "What Is It?"

The April 2011 feature photo was entitled White Egrets Performing which won Third Place in the Photographic Society of Chattanooga first Quarterly Photo Contest in March 2011, in the area of nature.

The March 2011 feature photo is Tadazia Sivels in her prom dress from last year. Please take a look at how beautifull she was captured by Russell's photograph.

The February 2011 feature photo was Russell's photo entitled Great Blue Heron With Lunch which won the People's Choice Award for prints at the Photographic Society of Chattanooga's annual contest in December 2010. This photo also won an Honorable Mention as part of the contest.

The January 2011 feature photo was Russell's night photo of the IMAX Theatre which won 2nd Place in News Channel 9's Heroic Drive Photo Contest. He won a copy of their lavishly illustrated, oversized, hard=bound book, "Chattanooga's Heroic Drive - The History of a Renaissance!"
The December 2010 feature photo was a Bode Dahlia which came in second place in the American Dahlia Society National Show held at the Chattanooga Choo on September 23-27.
Our November 2010 feature photo was our 2011 calendar cover of flowers. The calendar includes scripture verses from Chapter Eight of Romans which is filled with blessings, encouragements, and thrilling promises to those who are believers in Jesus Christ.

Our August 2010 feature photo was "Senior Picture of Antwon Kinamore". Antwon is a recent High School graduate - congratulations Antwon!

Our July 2010 feature was titled "A Busy Mom." How would you like a family this size? This photo is on display at the Blackwell Gallery which is part of Blackwell Automotive on the west side of Eastgate. Please stop by and look at all of the photos being displayed by the Photography Society of Chattanooga members (they are all for sale).
Our June 2010 feature was Russell's night photo of downtown Chattanooga that was chosen to be displayed at Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. It has been an honor to have these photos being viewed internationally to all of the visitors at the new Wuxi Museum.
Our May 2010 feature was Russell's night photo of the City Pier that highlights the 21st Century Waterfront that was chosen to be displayed at Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. It is an honor to have these photos being viewed internationally to all of the visitors at the new Wuxi Museum.
Our April 2010 feature was a photo of a special father and son playing. This photo received an Honorable Mention at the Photographic Society of Chattanooga's annual contest.
Our March 2010 feature was Russell's photo of the Tennessee River Gorge as seen atop Racoon Mountain which was chosen to be displayed at Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. It is an honor to have these photos viewed internationally to all of the visitors at hte new Wuxi Museum.
Our February 2010 feature was a photo inside Fairyland Caverns at Rock City. This photo was awarded Third Place in the Photographic Society of Chattanooga's quarterly contest with Rock City as the theme.
Our January 2010 feature was Russell's night photo of the IMAX Theater that was chosen to be displayed at Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. It is an honor to have these photos viewed internationally to all the visitors at the New Wuxi Museum.
The December 2009 feature photo was an Amy K dahlia which won first place at the Dahlia Society of Tennessee (Chattanooga) this past fall.
The November 2009 feature photo was our 2010 calendar cover of animals. The calendar consists of scripture verses from Old Testament prophesies and Christ's fulfillment of these prophesies.
Our October 2009 feature was a photo taken at the walking bridge over South Chickamauga Creek near the Tennessee River. About 350 photos were submitted to promote art exchanges between two Sister Cities – Chattanooga and Wuxi, Jiangsu Province China. About 75 were chosen to be sent to Wuxi and five of these were taken by Russell. All of the photos are currently hanging in the new Wuxi Museum. The theme of the exhibit is the amazing Tennessee Valley scenery and the American culture. The featured photo is one of those photos; the others will be featured at later dates. It is an honor to have Russell’s photos being viewed internationally to all of the visitors at the new Wuxi Museum.
Our September 2009 feature was a photo taken for a new book entitled “Marriage on the Rocks” by Gregory Rivers, Ph.D. (please visit his website http://www.gregoryrios.webs.com/ for more details about the book). This photo was posed for the concept by the author and the result compliments the contents of his book.
The feature photo for August 2009 was the 25th Reunion of the Brainerd High School Class of 1984. They are a wonderful group of people and it was great to be a part of this special occasion.

Let's shout a big "Congratulations!" to Maya for her accomplishments, and please continue to keep her in our prayers for her future endeavors.
